A KANSAS-OKLAHOMA CONFERENCE WELCOME
THE KANSAS-OKLAHOMA CONFERENCE EXTRAVAGANTLY WELCOMES THE REV. DR. IRA S. AND CAROL WILLIAMS, JR.
Ira has accepted the position to be the Camp Director and Conference Youth Ministry Leader. He began his responsibilities on March 1, 2007 and arrived in the K-O Conference March 12, 2007.
Ira and Carol Williams are returning to their regional home. Both were raised in the Kansas City metropolitan area. A graduate of Shawnee Mission West, Ira attended Baker University in Baldwin City Kansas. It was there that he and Carol Ann Massie met. After graduation in 1967, Carol began teaching and Ira entered Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri. Carol and Ira were married in the summer of 1968 and she began working on her PHT (Put Hubby Through) degree. After his graduation and ordination in 1971, Ira and Carol began a series of settled pastorates in Iowa and Florida. With the support of his local congregation in Iowa he took the time to earn a Doctor of Ministry Degree at United Theological Seminary in New Brighton, MN. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree in 1986.
